Online Coaching with Mick Iacofano

I have a personal best of 2:09:55 in the marathon, which I did finishing 7th at the 2020 Marathon Project in Chandler, AZ. I debuted my marathon career with a win at the 2017 Jacksonville Marathon in a time of 2:18:39. I did so by coaching myself while finishing my Mechanical Engineering bachelor’s degree at the University of Kentucky.

I have also shown a lot of success on the US Road Championships. In 2018 I ran 2:13:47 at CIM to make the leap from the ranks of good collegiate athletes to genuine Olympic hopefuls. I followed that up with placing ninth at the USATF Half Marathon champs with 64:42, and scored another ninth at the USATF 25km champs with 77:46 within 6 days of each other in 2019.

My most recent accomplishments include placing 17th overall (6th American) at the 2022 Boston Marathon, finishing the 2023 Chicago Marathon 6 weeks post emergency appendectomy, and competing in the 2024 US Marathon Olympic Trials.
